CMIC Announces New Loyalty Rewards Program Allocation for 2017

GLASTONBURY, CT – October 25, 2016 – CMIC, an A- (A.M. Best) rated company and leading member-owned medical professional liability insurance provider, announced recently that for the third year in a row, the CMIC Loyalty Rewards Program will disperse funds to eligible members’ Loyalty Rewards Accounts.

For eligible members renewing in 2017, the program will allocate 7.5% of the member’s annual net premium in 2016, to be held by CMIC and distributed to the member upon retirement, or a qualifying event. Over the past three years, CMIC has dispersed 30% of eligible members’ premium into the Loyalty Rewards Program accounts.

“As a mutual company, we are always looking for ways to share our success with our policyholders and to reward those that have been loyal to us over the years,” said Denise Funk, CEO of CMIC Group. “Our financial diligence and strong underwriting practices enable us to offer benefits like the Loyalty Rewards Program to our membership.”

In addition to the Loyalty Rewards Program, CMIC also provides members with loss experience credits, loss prevention education credits and a dividend.
